fight night at Empire 7/26/24

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTRATION. There are no refunds.

Those of you who are Empire members or who sign up for a membership upon registration for this event will receive a $50 discount applied to your registration fee for the full day. Members must be logged in to see member pricing option, or can contact Kyle.

Rentals are limited and first come first serve. Rental reservations are handled on the STORE page, if it says it’s available, you may checkout with it and it will be waiting for you.

New to night vision? Great. Experienced goon? Also great. Don’t have night vision and want to try before you buy? Even better. Fight Night at Empire will have something for you regardless of where you’re at in your nocturnal skillset.

This event will take place typically the last Friday of every month year-round, rain or moon shine, exclusively at Empire Gun Club.

Evening Structure:

The event will be broken up into two modules. The first, full day, will be comprised of education around night shooting and its elements, gear talk/comparisons, safety brief and function checks of gear, and then a twilight shoot to work new night vision shooters through the basics and get them squared away. Walking away you should have a basic understanding of what you’re looking for when it comes time to purchase and how to use the equipment.

Module two (drills only) will be primarily dynamic drills, both individually and as a team. Each evening will have something new and challenging.

While some drills may be familiar, it is our goal to have something fresh each month. Especially drills that will test your equipment, cognitive ability, special awareness, and both mental and physical stamina.

If you’re already an accomplished and safe night vision shooter, you may attend the “drills only” portion of the evening once checked out by an instructor your first night (contact us prior). Everyone attends the full day their first time.

Most or all of the drills conducted will include the ability to be run both with nods or white light with either pistol or rifle.

Timeline:

Full Day: We will have a hard start time for module 1 at 5PM, check in starts at 4:30PM. This will be roughly 1.5 hours and include the initial basic live fire elements to get you squared away, zero check, etc, and then will roll into a 1.5hr classroom portion.

Drills Only: Feel free to arrive around 4:30PM to check-in if you like. Day drills will kick off at 5PM.

Live fire will conclude no later than 1:00am. Instructors will have plenty of different drills to change out and keep students working for that duration, how many drills we get to will be determined by how prepared the students are. If everyone comes with prepared magazines, kit, and a good zero, more shooting will take place. Do your fellow shooters a favor a favor and come prepared, and reset quickly.
